How we choose what goes on the shelves
Quality first
We buy our products from reputable suppliers. Where possible we select NZ local products, which are organic and spray-free where practical. We do not go for the cheapest, we go for quality products that we want to eat and use ourselves and feed our families.
Local where it makes sense
If we are able to get products that are NZ grown or made and they are the quality that we want, then we try and source those. This is not always possible, there are products that do not grown or available in NZ, so we buy these from reputable suppliers.
Products our customers actually want
We listen to our customers, if we are asked for products, we look into sourcing them if we feel that there is going to be demand for it. If we find we have products that don’t sell, we stop stocking them, and use the space for something customers actually want.
Clear information
All our bins provide information about the product including ingredients and allergen lists.
